Last month Neepawa showcased how to have fun during their annual HyLife Community Fun Days at the Yellowhead Community Centre. The day consisted of golf, balloon artists, face painters, free food, prizes and this year the committee added new inflatables and badminton.
Badminton was well received with close to 50 people officially signing up to be a part of the event’s organized tournament that kicked off at 9:00 am, and then many more picked up rackets and joined in once the organized games ended.
Also, new this year was entertainment by employee band called “Sensessions” who serenaded all of those who came to take in the free lunch of hot dogs and pork loin on a bun along with chips and a drink.
And then at 2:00 pm around 35 prizes were handed out to the staff by random draw with the grand prize being a big screen TV; congratulations to Lelibeth Libadisos.
