What a game. What a crowd. Delicious pork!

At HyLife, we are committed to the communities in which we live and work. On February 12, 2022 HyLife was the gameday sponsor for the match off between the Neepawa Titans and the Virden Oil Capitals at the Yellowhead Centre in Neepawa, Manitoba. An event, such as a hockey game, provides an excellent opportunity for the community and local business to come together in a fun environment.

HyLife’s very own corporate chef, JP Charpentier, stepped in as the Yellowhead’s Lead Cook for the night and served three delicious pork options – Tonkatsu Bites, Pork Ribs, & Pulled Pork on a Bun – to all 307 fans in attendance. All proceeds raised from HyLife Pork sales during the game were donated back to the Yellowhead Centre Arena. We were proud to raise nearly $1,300.

Fans also got to enjoy free prize draws of HyLife merchandise and free HyLife pork throughout the game in their seats. HyLife Mascot, HyLife HyDee, had the pleasure of dropping the puck before the game during a ceremonial faceoff.

In addition to the HyLife excitement, fans were treated to a thrilling hockey game. Virden held a 4-3 lead in the third period until Neepawa tied it at 4 goals each with less than three minutes to go in regulation play. Virden would go on to win 5-4 with 5 seconds left in overtime.

It was moment to remember, among many that night, shares the Neepawa Titans Board of Directors.

“Great job today with all of the game day activities and the amazing food. Thanks for supporting community initiatives,” said Jamie Denbow, Neepawa Titans Board of Directors.

This was HyLife’s second gameday sponsorship of the Neepawa Titans for the 2021-2022 season. The first took place on November 28, 2021 in front of 795 fans. $2,000 was raised from HyLife Pork Sales. All of which was donated back to the Yellowhead Centre. In that game, the Titans fell by a score of 6-1 to the Steinbach Pistons on that night.
