HyLife Serves 600 Guests at Taste of Steinbach

STEINBACH, Manitoba – Cooking an exceptional meal for more than 600 people is not an easy feat. Yet, our HyLife Corporate Chef JP Charpentier and Culinary Team were up for the challenge, ensuring Steinbach’s largest culinary event was a success.
Taste of Steinbach brings together local businesses, community partners, and residents for an evening of delicious food, meaningful connections, and a shared celebration of hometown pride. The venue was the newly built Southeast Event Center, (SEC) where guests dined on center ice.
Behind the scenes, the SEC kitchen buzzed with precision and passion as chefs prepared an extraordinary feast. The numbers behind the event speak to the effort and care that went into every bite. 62 loins, approximately 440 pounds of HyLife Premium Pork along with 155 pounds of potatoes and broccolini. The meal was prepared by 15 talented culinary staff members, who began prepping up to a week in advance – portioning ingredients and handling other essential preparations before cooking even began.
“We have been planning for months, and it feels like a culinary Superbowl,” said JP Charpentier, HyLife’s Corporate Chef. “Everything is made fresh, and the timing must be perfect, our HyLife premium pork will take center stage, and we are excited to feed hundreds of guests.”
