Kicking Off Summer Fun in Steinbach & La Broquerie

Summer isn’t summer without local fairs and festivals. HyLife has a history of being a leader with their community support in these types of events, and this year has been more of the same. The company has entered into the summer sunshine by supporting Summer in the City in Steinbach and St. Jean Baptiste Days in La Broquerie.

Steinbach’s Summer in the City is a festival celebrating arts and culture in the region. With HyLife’s cultural diversity amongst its workforce, their involvement as the festival’s Culture in the City stage sponsor has been a great fit.

“HyLife and community diversity and engagement go hand in hand,” says a very grateful Graham Pollock, who volunteers as Summer in the City’s Festival Chair. “They (HyLife) are a huge part of our festival. Without their significant financial support, we would not be in the position to bring in the top line entertainers that do so much in taking the audience on a trip to that country or culture they represent.”

Along with their involvement in Summer in the City, arguably one of the largest rural festivals in the province HyLife also makes sure they have a strong presence in their home community of La Broquerie during St. Jean Baptiste Days.

HyLife entered its parade float tossing candy out to eager kids along the route along with handing out balloons and applying HyLife tattoos at the HyLife Community Centre during the festival’s main activities Sunday afternoon (June 24th).
