"I have been here at HyLife since 2015, working in packaging. After I gained knowledge, I was a Leadhand for 3 years, before becoming a supervisor in 2021. Starting my new roles, it was very hard for me, because I was new in the field. But working in packaging - the decision-making, conflicts between your area and the rest of the line, support from my supervisors, helped me handle my responsibilities. I’ve learned how to handle stress. It’s a good workplace. Now, I am able to step in for my assistant manager, while still learning from them too. If we have any problem in a department, we unite and come together to fix the issue. If there is someone who needs help, everyone is willing to support each other, no matter who they are. HyLife has made a good impact, especially on my family. All I can say is, it’s great. I’m a single mother – in the Philippines, I was really working hard to build a good future and to bring my daughter here to Canada, where we can have a good life."

HyLife Masters
HyLife Masters is designed to strengthen new and existing leaders while connecting them to HyLife’s integrated business platform.
Each year, participants are selected to be part of a year-long program consisting of classroom sessions, tours of operations, and group projects that have been chosen by Senior Management.

The HyLife Masters Program was designed to support the sustainability and growth of our organization and the development of selected candidates.
Career Growth
Sivadoss G. joined us as an Industrial Engineer (2018) before advancing to Senior Manufacturing Engineer Manager (2020).
Joe L. started working in our barns as a Swine Technician (2004) and continually gained business experience before becoming Director of Finishing & Hog Procurement (2020).
Angie L. was a part of our Neepawa team as a Form Payroll Clerk (1992) before gaining extensive operational experience, eventually filled the role of Director of Planning & Inventory (2022).
Gina N. moved through the HyLife Masters program to grow from Accounting Manager (2009) to Director of Accounting (2020).
Darwin D. gained experience and leadership knowledge as a Production Worker (2009) to become an effective Cut Floor Production Manager (2021).
Elvin G. worked as a Swine Technician (2009) and barn manager before transitioning into the office as a SOP Compliance Administrator (2020).

Steinbach, MB
HyLife employees working in the Steinbach area are a diverse group – while many of us have family roots going back generations, there is a growing contingent of new Canadians, new Manitobans, and people commuting from Winnipeg.
The base of our Farm operations, Steinbach is an exciting place to live. The city’s infrastructure and amenity growth brings with it opportunity to settle in a vibrant city that we think is one of the best kept secrets in Canada.
Our regional operations include our head office, two feed mills, sow, finishing, and nursery barn sites, fleet maintenance, wash and bake bays, and our primary distribution centre.

Home to our regional feed mill and many of our largest and newest barn facilities, Killarney, Kola, and nearby municipalities are perfectly situated in Southwest Manitoba for our employees to live and play.
An outdoor enthusiasts dream, Southwest Manitoba offers incredible scenery, fishing, hiking, and camping options. These are of course complemented by the artistic spirit of the town’s musical and live performance roots.
