Story

HyLifePork is the result of decades of dedication to quality. With roots in rural Manitoba, HyLife has grown to become a leading producer of premium pork products enjoyed around the world. Designed to satisfy the exceedingly high standards of our customers, the HyLifePork product brand has been at the centre of the Japanese retail marketplace since 2014.

Our formula for the ultimate in quality is to deliver on taste and trust. As a fully integrated company, we control everything that affects our final product – from farm to fork. We obsess over our practices so that every detail is uncompromised, ensuring we produce the exact marbling, colour, firmness, and texture we know our customers want.

Purpose

Our passion for pork can be summed up in what we want you to experience every time you eat it: a “Suteki Day”. Suteki is a Japanese word meaning great, lovely, splendid, or wonderful. We do what we do so that you can elevate a day spent with friends and family by turning it into something special.

The HylifePork Food Trailer, operated by Chef JP, brings our communities the eating experiences our customers enjoy around the world.

We don’t use the words “premium pork products” lightly. Our pork is the juiciest, richest, and most flavourful you’ll ever taste. We stake this claim because we control every aspect of how our pigs are raised – from their specialized diet all the way to your plate. On top of our high standards for quality, our pork will be cooked in a way you’ve never had before by HyLife’s corporate chef, Jean-Phillipe Charpentier.

Producers of premium pork products, HyLife is a multi-national food company with over 4,500 employees. Our operations are concentrated in La Broquerie (MB), Neepawa (MB), and Windom (MN).

HyLife takes care of its employees, communities, and customers, and is a fully integrated pork producer; self-sufficient in our genetics, feed, veterinary, logistics, environmental, livestock, processing, and business operations.

HyLifePork products are not available at retail in North America, but we decided it was time to share what we do with communities close to home. In Japan, we have had plenty of practice delivering our products to the highest standard through our Tokyo restaurant, HyLifePork Table. Our food trailer experience is designed around what we’ve done there since 2017.
