Along with our Procurement and Logistics teams, Killarney Mill Manager Adolf Doerksen represented HyLife at the harvest grounds near Lena, MB on September 17th to support the Killarney Growing Project, a community farming initiative that helps combat hunger around the world. The Project saw enormous support from local farmers who donated their time, equipment, and resources.

HyLife purchased the entire yield this year. 320 metric tons of wheat were brought in from 145 acres in just 2 hours! Organized by community leaders, we saw 17 combines, 1 grain cart, and 4 semis work together coordinate delivery to the HyLife Feed Mill in Killarney.

It was wonderful to see the local community come together for this harvest. All proceeds went to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
