Last week was North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) week across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. NAOSH week takes place each May and is run to generate awareness and education on Health and Safety in the workplace and at home!
Over the course of the week, we took part in various activities and informative sessions. Each day we had visitors at our offices in LaBroquerie and Neepawa who provided us with therapies and information that helped us to better understand what a healthy lifestyle looks like. Services included massage therapy, yoga sessions, blood pressure testing, informative mobile health, and safety vehicle, and much more! Thank you to all for engaging and taking part in NAOSH week!
“We expanded our communication with our pulse website and our marketing and events team promoting health and safety wellness for last week”, says Rob Radawetz, Health and Safety Manager in La Broquerie about this year being different from past years.
Radawetz added that his highlights of the week were learning different nutritional techniques, healthy living exercises, and some mind and body exercises that will help him in his job.
He went on to conclude with this important health and safety advice, “Always keep health and safety number one in your everyday work and always assess the risks before you do your job.”
Here is a look back on everything that took place last week.
